The Zippo Lizard Trick 2 model 254844 is a vintage Brushed Chrome lighter featuring a distinctive three-dimensional emblem that appears to depict a stone wall or rock surface when the lighter is closed. Opening the lid reveals the clever surprise hidden beneath it: a small gold-plated lizard emerges from behind the stone, giving the lighter its characteristic “trick” design. The model was specially produced for the German market and is associated with Hauser Design, making it a particularly unusual European Zippo release from the 1990s. This particular example dates from 1996, placing it among the early vintage production runs of the Lizard Trick 2. Made in the USA and fully refillable, the Zippo Lizard Trick 2 254844 combines a classic Brushed Chrome case with an ingenious hidden lizard mechanism that makes it a memorable and playful collectible.
