The Vintage Zippo Pocket Knife Guarantee from 1972 is a fascinating piece of original Zippo ephemera documenting the company’s famous guarantee for its pocket knives and other Zippo products. The historic guarantee states that a Zippo knife returned to the factory would be restored to first-class mechanical condition free of charge, reflecting the same customer-focused philosophy that became an important part of the Zippo brand. The period document features classic Zippo typography, decorative artwork and the Zippo Manufacturing Co. Bradford, PA name, making it an excellent example of vintage Zippo printed material from the early 1970s. For collectors, this original Zippo guarantee is more than just a warranty document — it offers a glimpse into how Zippo presented its products and stood behind its craftsmanship during this era. A wonderful piece of vintage Zippo history and an interesting addition to any collection of Zippo pocket knives, advertising material, guarantees and company memorabilia.
