Photographed collector reference · Insert
1971 · Regular · Bradford — Insert reference (1971)
Zippo · 1971: Insert front, reverse and chimney-top photographs accompanying Terry Lyons’s 1971 Bradford regular-size Zippo. Lettering and construction are real photographic evidence; insert replacement and overlapping production periods prevent a guaranteed factory pairing or exact insert manufacture date. The reverse face is photographed without the later two-sided text layout; this single specimen is not a universal dating rule.

Dating caution. Case and insert can have different manufacture dates; inserts may have been replaced. A single feature does not establish authenticity.
