J. Kim identifies this as a counterfeit combining a stamp layout associated with roughly 1938–1952 and a later patent marking. These design clues do not verify when the imitation was manufactured. The additional source note describes a chrome-plated brass case, a pre-1953-style layout and a later patent number. Its suggested relationship to later lookalike brands is speculative and not established.
